Cuisine: Italian

Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 12
Ingredients
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 15 ounces (1 container) refrigerated bruschetta topping
Recipe Notes
- To fancy up the dip, top with fresh basil leaves and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- If you don’t have time to soften the cream cheese or you don’t have a mixer, you can use two packages of whipped cream cheese set out for 10 to 20 minutes. It won’t be as fluffy but it will still work!
- If you can't find store-bought bruschetta topping, make your own by mixing together fresh chopped tomatoes, sea salt, minced garlic, olive oil, white balsamic vinegar and fresh basil. Or just fresh tomatoes, garlic and basil.
- Nutritional information will vary depending on brand of bruschetta topping purchased.
Here's how to make it:
- About 1 to 1 1/2 hours before starting the recipe, take out your cream cheese and place it in a mixing bowl to soften. When the cream cheese is soft, use a mixer to whip it up to make it nice and spreadable, about 1 to 2 minutes.
- Spread the cream cheese in the bottom of a casserole dish or pie plate.
- Drain the bruschetta in a fine mesh strainer or use a slotted spoon to remove as much moisture as possible.
- Spread the bruschetta on top of the cream cheese. If you like, sprinkle with basil and drizzle the mixture with balsamic glaze. Serve with bread or crackers and enjoy!
