Actress Garcelle Beauvais penned the children’s book, "I Am Mixed," as part of the "I AM" series that celebrates diversity and empowers children. The mother of three says her twin boys provided input for her book.
"The 'I Am Mixed' book idea came from the need for me to have a book where my kids could see themselves in the characters, and learn to celebrate their diversity and what makes them special,” Garcelle says.
