Are you looking for a meaningful gift for a special teacher, tutor or friend? I love donating to a charity that reflects the values of the person I’m giving to. For teachers I love DonorsChoose.org. Teachers in impoverished areas post their classroom needs. You can choose to fund all or a portion of the gift. I try to match the project to the subject area of the teacher we’re giving to.

It’s awesome to read from the actual teacher about this item or project they are trying to secure for their kids. It’s a meaningful way to honor your teachers and other hard-working ones in another town.
