Each year, my husband and I host a big Christmas Day brunch. We invite both sides of our families and many friends. We enjoy celebrating the day with them and, aside from cooking and baking for them (our love language), we want them all to leave with a little token of our appreciation for their love. If you have to give gifts to many people at once, try this:

• Buy scratch-off lottery tickets for all your guests and a few extra.
• Tie a bow around each one.
• Put them in a festive bowl, stocking or container of choice.
• Set a decorative bowl of shiny pennies on the side.

Individually, or as a group, pass the bowl of pennies and tickets around the group. Everyone can take their "lucky" pick and scratch away. It's a fun time for all! Happy Holidays!
