It might seem backwards, but one of the best ways to build your own prosperity is to boost your generosity. Most people think, “I’ll give when I have more money.” But giving is actually a precursor to building wealth. When you loosen your grip on money and give to people, causes and charities that are important to you, it paves the way for more money to flow into your life.
Try setting up an automatic giving account. This is where you have a percentage of your income deposited on a regular basis into a separate account to be donated in the future. It will help you to be more deliberate about your generosity. Give more and watch the prosperity flow your way!
