Ingredients

• 1 unbaked pie crust
• apple juice
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup flour
• juice of 1/2 a lemon
• 8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter, sliced

Here's how to make it: 

1. Put an unbaked pie crust onto a baking sheet.
2. Fill pie crust with apple juice. Pour in the vanilla extract. 
3. Whisk together the sugar and flour in a bowl. Sprinkle it over the apple juice. Do not stir.
4. Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon.
5. Top with sliced butter.
6. Bake at 400 degrees F for 1 hour.
7. Remove and refrigerate for at least six hours or overnight. Serve.
