When I was little, my mom always gave me Campbell's Chicken & Stars soup when I was sick. I always made homemade chicken noodle soup for my kids and now husband. Growing up, when I had a stomachache or stomach bug, it was warm Coke and chewing on ice cubes. The reasons you point out, @phjsl , make so much sense as to why we want chicken soup. Thanks for sharing!
